If you want to surf, I think you need to live on the West Coast . . . but I do know that the Florida Gulf Coast (near Destin and Pensacola) are great places. . . plus, in Mobile, AL (pretty close to Pensacola, FL) the largest foreign investment in the history of the United States is building a steel mill!!!! The mill will not be operational for several years, but they are building it soon, and are already taking applications. If you are interested go to

    Good luck and safe travels!!!!

Well thats great. Welcome to the USA. If you want to locate in a warm area check out Florida or California. Here we call them states and you can look on the net for information for example at citydata.com you can type in a zip code which is a postal mail area code or you can type in the name of a city you may be interested in. For example if you want to find out about my city you can type the zip code 02115 and citydata.com will give you far more information about that city or section of it and you will be well informed about that place and use that information when you decide where to live and work and educate your children . God Bless and Welcome to the USA!!

Your first concern is going to be to get visas. you cannot just “move” to America…just like Americans cannot just move to Australia. You must apply to immigrate. It is a difficult, long , and expensive process. If you do not have close family in the U.S., the only way you can even hope to immigrate is through the Diversity Lottery program. I believe you will find it is more practical to stay in Australia and make a success of your life there. You can go to the sites below to read about immigration.

teachers are in high demand everywhere

they don’t pay teachers a lot in the US. but they never have a problem getting work.

do some research on Florida and California

    Boca Raton
Gulf Breeze in Santa Rosa County
